Identify whether the instrument is an upright, baby grand, or another type. Provide approximate dimensions and explain any known damage or delicate features. Do not guess its weight or attempt disassembly; ask what information is needed for assessment.

Describe your piano precisely
02 / MOVE GUIDE
Assess access before setting the plan
Count steps, describe stair turns, and measure doorways or narrow passages where practical. Include elevators, loading areas, and the intended room at delivery. Photos may help explain the route; ask how to share them during the call.
03 / MOVE GUIDE
Discuss protection and after-move care
Ask about the proposed handling and protection arrangements for your instrument. Keep the route clear and consult a qualified piano technician about tuning or other care after relocation. These are preparation considerations, not a promise about equipment or company procedures.

YOUR QUESTIONS, EXPLAINED
Piano moving service questions
Can a piano be included with household furniture?
Describe the piano separately even if it is part of a larger move. Confirm whether the proposed arrangements account for the instrument and its access route.
Should I remove piano parts myself?
Do not attempt disassembly based on a general moving checklist. Discuss the instrument with the business and seek qualified guidance.
What access information matters most?
Explain stairs, turns, doorway dimensions, elevators, loading restrictions, and the final placement location at both properties.
